Happy Memorial Day! Although we had a full house on this big holiday weekend, we were mindful of and grateful for the sacrifice made by so many patriotic Americans for the safety and security of our beloved country.

Hi everybody. I’m writing this from a hotel room in Bend, Oregon. Looking forward to tubing the Deschutes River around lunchtime, but right now I have a few hours to put this summary blog together.
Another great meeting, thanks to a fine speaker and an enthusiastic audience. More than fifty people came to hear Jeri Westerson talk about how to do historical research. She also demonstrated several medieval weapons! (more…)
