About the Guild

Diamond Valley Writers' Guild is a non-profit organization of writers, from beginners to established authors. Although our epicenter is Southwest Riverside County, California, we have members and participants from all over the United States, and even a few who reside in other countries. DVWG has been a non-profit organization since 2016, offering valuable resources, networking opportunities, great speakers, and a forum for members to share inspiration and create a community with fellow writers.

We meet in a hybrid format (in person at the Hemet Public Library while simultaneously via Zoom), which makes us able to host award-winning authors and publishing industry professionals from anywhere there’s an internet connection.

Although DVWG meetings don’t require a paid membership to attend, as a volunteer-only, member-driven, non-profit organization we rely exclusively on membership dues to pay for ongoing expenses, so we'd love to have you become an official member of the Guild.

Board of Directors

The Diamond Valley Writers' Guild is managed by a volunteer board of directors elected from the active membership. Elections are held each October for positions whose terms are ending. Below is your current board as of October 21, 2023.
